Skyline will be boxed in?
Before you buy or rent in Skyline, read the Skyline posts below. Also, have a look at this area plan, available on the Internet. You can see that Skyline could easily become boxed in, with limited views in most directions. (Similar comments for Macrossan Apartments.)
In addition, the Australian Financial Review reported this week that Meriton lodged plans to build a 70 storey tower on the corner of Boundary and Adelaide Streets, with 200 serviced apartments (not to be sold), 200 residential apartments and 3 floors of offices. This will impact Macrossan and Skyline.

Admiralty Towers are obviously the best among all of them. When Admiralty towers were the only buildings around, parking space is already tight, but still manageable. With the addition of a few more high density buildings like Skyline, parking has become extremely tight, one-bedders and two-bedders are out of luck for allocated parking space. What do you do?
There is one Woolworths on Queen Street, but you need to cross very busy streets to get there the Admiralty cluster. Imagine pushing a cart of grocery as cars are flying by. It is all touristy shopping downstairs at the same side, no place to get your bars of soap or rolls of toilet paper.
The one-bedders do not come with parking, and there is absolutely no space for praking on the street. Therefore, one-bedder tenants or residents really need to struggle for their daily needs as they enjoy the boxed-in riverside lifestyle.
